Program Description:
Internships in China

Whether you are a recent graduate, taking a career break, or looking to gain practical experience in your field of study, an international internship in Shanghai can be an important stepping stone in your career path. ELI works with a wide variety of organizations inShanghai to create one of a kind, tailored internships in fields ranging from Law to Engineering and Health Sciences. Interns gain valuable work experience while living in one of the most dynamic and quickly growing metropolises on the face of the planet. Working with Chinese companies, interns develop important cross-cultural competencies and truly join the international marketplace.

International Business and Marketing

Shanghai is the world's busiest cargo port and home to an incredible number of businesses of all sorts. Interns can gain experience in almost any field of international business including import/export, finance, marketing, logistics, consulting, inside sales, human resources, research, and more. Interns work within companies and find themselves part of the day to day operations, attending meetings, conducting research, assisting with translation, meeting clients, and working on projects. Almost all business internships offer stipends for participants who commit to at least three months.
