Why Ireland?
Ireland is home to spectacular scenery, rich history, and quaint villages, but what visitors to this country remember most are the warm and engaging Irish people. At work, at play, in class and in the pub, the Irish people are sociable and welcoming, and since it’s an English-speaking country, World Endeavors students can easily become part of Irish university life. While they’re at it, students also get the chance to explore Ireland’s famously lush countryside, learn about its fascinating ancient and modern history, and experience the music and art that set this island nation apart. It’s the perfect place for students to get a new perspective on their studies, and it’s an ideal base for those who wish to travel in the United Kingdom and continental Europe.

Live in Limerick, Ireland
Limerick is a true gem of the Emerald Isle, and it’s a place where Ireland’s heritage and its future meet. The twelfth-century St. Mary’s Cathedral and King John’s Castle can be found here, attesting to Limerick’s rich medieval history. Meanwhile, art museums, galleries, and theaters celebrate Irish art of the more recent past and the present. It’s easy to find a pub where students and local residents gather to watch football matches, while trendy restaurants serve Irish and international cuisine. The University is an important part of local life, and students and professors from around the world ensure Limerick is connected and always interesting.
