Volunteer Abroad in Vietnam

Why Volunteer in Vietnam?
Breathtaking natural beauty, exotic destinations, and rich cultural experiences await those traveling to Vietnam. The people are welcoming, the food is exceptional, and the country is ripe with adventure. This unique nation has developed rapidly over the years, and offers visitors the opportunity to experience its growth firsthand. World Endeavors volunteers in Vietnam will contribute to the further development of the country as they work alongside local organizations focused on eldercare, childcare, special education, and teaching projects within the community.

Program Information

Live in Ho Chi Minh City or Phan Thiet, Vietnam
Ho Chi Minh City lies along the Saigon River. Originally a French colony, the city has a unique fusion of European and Asian influences which can been seen through the cuisine and architecture. Volunteers can explore the museums, temples, and pagodas within Ho Chi Minh City to learn more about the ancient and more recent history of this unique country. If participants are feeling more adventurous, they can go further and explore the lush Mekong Delta, the capital city of Hanoi, or one of the many limestone islands in Ha Long Bay. Volunteers have numerous opportunities to experience the sites and culture of Vietnam.

Located in the Binh Thuan province along the coast in southeast Vietnam, Phan Thiet is a relatively undisturbed fishing town that is also the capital of the province. Here you will find all sorts of cultural sites, local markets and natural wonders to enjoy!
