Why Ireland?
The World Endeavors Summer Study – University of Limerick program offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves in Irish culture. Each student takes one intensive, advanced course in Irish literature, sociology, history, or law. While studying, students experience Irish culture first-hand in Limerick, a classic Irish city and a world-class university town.

Program Information**

Live in Limerick, Ireland
Limerick is a true gem of the Emerald Isle where Ireland’s heritage and future meet. The twelfth-century St. Mary’s Cathedral and King John’s Castle can be found here, attesting to Limerick’s rich medieval history. Meanwhile, art museums, galleries, and theaters celebrate Irish art of the more recent past and the present. It’s easy to find a pub where students and local residents gather to watch football matches, while trendy restaurants serve Irish and international cuisine. The University is an important part of local life, and students and professors from around the world ensure Limerick is connected and always interesting.
