Program Description:
In today's competitive market, having an internship on your resume is the best way to attract future employment interviews and opportunities. Being able to travel and live abroad, continue sport-specific training, and have an international internship is REALLY going to set you apart! 

All internships are based in Prague, conducted in English, and run from 4 to 8 weeks. You will participate in the tournaments and leadership/coaching visit to Den Haag and Delft before beginning your internship the first week in July. If you wish to extend your internship for longer than four weeks, you may do so by contacting the Internship Supervisor and making the appropriate housing accommodations.

There are a number of very well established sites with law firms, health clubs, consulting agencies, hotels and not-for-profits. Below you can find a list of fields relative to the internships available.

Application Requirements
  • $100 Application Fee
  • Professional Resume (including classes that apply to internship of choice)
  • Top Three Internship Choices
  • Two References- 1 Academic + 1 Athletic
  • Phone Interview
 **If interested in obtaining the internship for credit we will need you to submit the paperwork so that the internship Coordinator can assist in finding an internship that will help to meet the necessary requirements 


Part Time OR Full Time Options

You can choose to do an internship full time or obtain credit for one class and do your internship part time. This is best of both worlds but depends on your college or career path. 

Acceptance Process


  1. Speak with Student Advisor
  2. Start your Application
  3. Activate your application (pay $100 app. fee)
  4. Placement process is initiated
  5. Once accepted, submit $500 Commitment Deposit within 10 days
  6. Internship placement confirmed
  7. Start making a packing list!

Dates + Deadlines
Application Deadline: January 15 2012
Final Payment Deadline: March 15 2012
Departure: June 21 2012
Return: August 4 2012


Cost
$6875 (what's included?)

The cost of the program is the same for both interns and students because you are participating in every other aspect of the program (orientation, gear, tournaments, Out of Bounds excursions, metro pass, accommodation, cultural events etc.) The tuition costs are allocated toward your internship placement and management fee.
