Curriculum Highlights: Our Semester Free Elective program at Florence University of the Arts is created for students wishing to design their own curriculum from a broad selection of courses. Semester students may select five courses, of 2 or 3 credits each, for a maximum of 15 semester credits. Italian language is required for Free Elective students, though there is no language prerequisite. All courses are taught in English and internships are NOT available to Free-Elective program students.
Overview: We offer our students programs that are focused on intense, cultural immersion which puts them in touch with the locals of their host country, elements of the host culture, and other international students from around the world to ensure a well-rounded, diverse experience.
Setting Description: Located in the heart of Florence, Florence University of the Arts is one of the premier school for study abroad programs in Tuscany. The school offers summer and semester study abroad programs, as well as one-year certificate courses in Fashion, Desing, Food Communications and Publishing, Hospitality Management, Baking and Pastry, and Italian
Cuisine. In addition, Florence Uinversity of the Arts offers a master's level certificate program in Culinary Arts.
