Tailored Faculty-Led Education Abroad Programs

Toucan Education Programs (TEP) is a mission-driven organization that seeks to partner with colleges and universities with missions that are focused on service, global awareness, and community engagement.

TEP is a group of people who are most passionate about designing and implementing tailored education abroad programming that promotes ethical experiential and intercultural learning.

As a social enterprise, we prioritize meeting the needs of professors and their students and our host communities in a safe, ethical, and sustainable manner. 
 
Our dedicated team works closely with professors and administrators to design and implement safe, ethical, mutually beneficial tailored faculty-led programs in a myriad of disciplines.

Belize is an excellent living laboratory for experiential learning and is home to a unique multicultural society that exposes students to rich intercultural learning opportunities.

TEP has been a long active member of The Forum on Education Abroad. Our education abroad leadership team consistently applies the Standards of Good Practice and its guidelines to every faculty-led program we design and implement.
 
TEP makes a commitment to supporting professors and students’ success through engaging experiential and intercultural learning that is intentional and creates value for students and the host communities where we work.
