WHAT TO EXPECT:
This Winter Break, we will be hosting our Global Summit event in Brazil.  Students will have classes on campus at our host university in three cities in Brazil - Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre and Sao Paulo, allowing them to see more of Brazil, and to integrate their traveling experience back into the classroom.

PROGRAM:
Study abroad in Europe this Winter Break and earn up to 6 academic credits.  During this program, students will have the option to travel across Brazil with professors, students and course facilitators, visiting multiple cities. During our Global Summit, students will take stimulating courses with excellent professors and will have the opportunity to learn about Brazil through professional visits to leading Brazilian companies and organizations.  Throughout a month of classes and visits, students will gain a broad overview of Brazilian culture, economy, society, business, and politics.

COURSE DESIGN:
Starting with one week on campus in Porto Alegre at our host university, students will then travel as a group to Florianópolis for a long weekend, before flying to Sao Paulo.  In Sao Paulo, students will continue taking courses on-campus at our host university.  For our second long weekend, students will travel as a group to Paraty along the "Green Coast" to Rio de Janeiro.  Once in Rio, students will take their final week of courses (again, on campus at our host university) before flying home on the 23rd.
