The University of New York in Prague is delighted to offer a range of academic study abroad opportunities for students who wish to incorporate a semester, a summer, or a year of study at UNYP into their degree studies at another university or college.

Study Abroad in Prague

Prague is an ancient crossroad of cultures, one of the most beautiful capital cities in Europe, and still a little off the beaten path for many.
International experience is more important than ever for a successful education leading to a fulfilling career, and a semester, summer or year of study abroad in Europe with UNYP can:
  • Further your academic studies
  • Broaden your horizons
  • Strengthen your intercultural skills
  • Expand your network of friends and colleagues to encompass the globe

With almost 100 different courses on offer each year, all taught exclusively in English, UNYP lets you work on your degree while experiencing life to the full as a student in Central Europe.

If you want to study abroad in Prague, contact the UNYP Center for Global Engagement.

Academics on the Study Abroad program

Teaching style

UNYP features small classes (average class size: 21 students) and a dynamic, interactive teaching style. UNYP's small student-to-teacher ratio makes it easier for each student to get an appropriate level of attention in the classroom.

Instructors

Like the student population, UNYP’s instructors are internationally diverse: one-third are American, one-third are Czech, and one-third from over 20 other countries. All are highly qualified academically and professionally, and bring to the classroom a diverse range of skills, experiences, and outlooks.

Accreditations

UNYP’s courses are accredited by American, Czech and British accreditation authorities.
