Cours de Civilisation Française de La Sorbonne (CCFS)

SAI invites students to explore French studies in the heart of Paris!

The Cours de Civilisation Française de La Sorbonne (CCFS) was founded in 1919 and is located in the prestigious Montparnasse neighborhood of Paris. As an independent educational institution dedicated to French language instruction and the promotion of French culture, CCFS has designed programs for international students who seek an intensive French Language immersion experience.
In addition to supporting students throughout their stay in Paris, SAI’s on site staff also coordinates a range of activities and excursions throughout the term, including a weekend trip to the South of France (semester only), a visit to “l’Institut du Monde Arabe Museum”, a walking tour of Paris, a day Trip to Deauville, and much more.
SAI students in Paris experience the overlapping cultural currents which flow through this ancient city; from its origins as a small settlement on the banks of the Seine River, to its globally-recognized status as the capital of modern French culture. From astonishing architecture, to world-class fine arts, to a thriving business scene, the treasures of Paris many and varied.

SAI oversees and coordinates all aspects of student enrollment, including application processing, course selection and credit, visa preparation, housing, student health insurance, transcripts, pre-departure, and on-site orientation & advising.
