  • The School

    Istituto Lorenzo de’ Medici  (LdM)  was the first school that Athena partnered with due to its nearly identical mission of bringing study abroad back to simpler roots based on individualized education. The school and this particular location demonstrate the strong academics and a pure vision of study abroad. 

    Founded in 1973 in Florence, LdM has long been recognized as a top academic institution in Italy.  LdM has continued to expand its academic focus to now encompass nearly all academic disciplines all year round.
