Program Description:
If you are truly interested in challenging yourself to an immersive experience, then this is the program for you! Unlike many other universities in Buenos Aires, our partner hosts no other American students, so you would interact with other international students and Argentinian students entirely in Spanish without interruptions from "Little America". We like offering programs that are off the beaten path and your time with us will be incredibly fulfilling as you chart your own path. You will not be alone as our staff will meet you at the airport and guide you throughout the program, leading you on excursions and showing you the beauty of Argentine culture.

Our host university, the Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM) was founded in 1992 and is located 30 minutes from the center of Buenos Aires. UNSAM offers over 100 undergraduate and graduate programs.

UNSAM offers a wide range of classes: Spanish, Literature & Arts, Argentine History, Political Science, Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences. Students can enroll in courses such as International Trade in Latin America, Comparative Political Studies, Latin American History, Spanish language, 20th Century Latin American Literature, Argentine Cinema, Latin American Revolution and Social Movements and many more!

Did you know?

Unlike other universities UNSAM has its own circus program on campus. Talented students hone their craft here to prepare to work on "under the big tent".

Students also have the opportunity to learn about the arts from professional artists hired by UNSAM to teach the classes. Classes offered at the Institute of Arts "Mauricio Kagel" include: Dance, Puppets, Cinema, Photography, Argentine Music, Sound Arts.

Summer Program
Students will have the opportunity to enroll in either a Spanish language class or a course on Argentine history.
