Program Highlights

City: Situated in Southwestern Germany, Ravensburg and Weingarten are surrounded by views of the scenic Alps and Lake Constance. Enjoy what both towns have to offer including, quaint historic centers that are still intact.

University: Founded in 1962, RWU is a public university, ranked top tier for its programs in engineering and computer science. 

Academics: Earn Major, Minor, and General Education credit.

Tuition: Same tuition cost as home CSU campus.

About Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences

Around 3,800 young people from all over the world study at RWU. Partner universities on every continent offer valuable experience abroad. Studying at RWU is more than just acquiring knowledge: This is where talents are discovered and fostered, where personalities bloom, and where life-long friendships start. RWU is anchored in the local region while simultaneously being internationally oriented. The bilingual courses especially are attended by both German students and students from all over the world. Innovative concepts, direct and open communication, and individualized support are the hallmarks of the university. 

CSU IP's programs in Germany are administered by full-time local CSU staff. The program begins with an intensive six-week Intensive Language Program (ILP) in Horb, a small town near Tübingen. The ILP is a German language and culture course focusing on grammar, composition, and conversation, as well as an introduction to German culture. Students then move to Ravensburg to continue their studies and enroll in one German course in addition to other coursework.
