Program Description:
Our Faculty-Led Programs give university students the chance to take short-term, credit-bearing courses in Seville under the guidance of their home-institution faculty leader or on-site faculty hired by the Spanish Institute to teach approved U.S. academic courses. Participants—and their accompanying faculty—enjoy a fully supported academic and cultural immersion: from modern teaching facilities and homestay or apartment accommodation to curated excursions tied directly to course material.

For Visiting Professors

Teaching Facilities
  • Fully equipped center with Wi-Fi, projectors, whiteboards, computer lab, extensive library, teachers’ lounge, and student leisure area
Support & Logistics
  • Spanish Institute handles all accommodation arrangements (host family or apartment), guest lecturers, field trips, and local transportation
  • 15-minute walk to Seville’s city center; steps from metro and bus stops
Academic Integration
  • Option to join adult-learner Spanish or English classes on topics such as contemporary Spain, pedagogy, or gender studies
  • If desired, Spanish Institute can recruit local faculty to co-teach additional modules

Academic Experience:
  • University courses taught by their home professor (combined with courses or modules taught by Spanish Institute faculty, as requested)
