Program Overview

Your CIEE Summer Global Internship program in Nice lasts 8 weeks and features two key components: A full-time internship with an international organization (approximately 30-40 hours per week) and an internship seminar. Enhance your experience with co-curricular and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in French culture. Live, learn, and work in Nice!

Excursions & Activities

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Nice will open doors for you to explore Frances’s rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.

Samples of excursions and activities: 

  • Participate in a guided tour of the Fragonard perfume factory and learn about the history, processes, and techniques used in perfume making 
  • Take coastal walks around Cap Ferrat peninsula or Cap d’Antibes to enjoy the stunning views of the mediterranean  
  • Attend a startup networking event at Europe's largest technology park, Sophia Antipolis, which hosts more than 2,500 tech companies in critical fields such as artificial intelligence
