Atlantis Pre-Health Programs, by CEA CAPA, provide collegiate-level pre-health shadowing abroad experiences that can be paired with an optional 3-credit online course. Designed for students looking to maximize clinical exposure, this program provides the opportunity to rotate through multiple specialties and gain insight into global healthcare systems in countries like Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal and more. With both single-country and multi-country program options, small student groups, and dedicated onsite support, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of medicine, a global perspective and a standout story to enhance your medical school applications.  

For students looking to add credit to a 3 week+ Atlantis experience, a fully online asynchronous course titled Perspectives in International Healthcare: Clinical Observational Experience is available.

Atlantis programs fill quickly due to small group sizes, so we encourage students to apply early to get their first choice of locations and dates.
