Code, create, and innovate! Get your career underway with our IT Internship Program at a leading IT company in Kathmandu, Nepal. Information Technology internships offer students and young professionals practical experience across a wide range of disciplines, from software development to database management. Whether you’re passionate about programming, web development, or other technologies, this internship will provide invaluable exposure.

This program ranges from 4-12 weeks and has start dates every Monday throughout the year.

Eligibility Requirements

Information Technology internships in Kathmandu are suitable for participants, at least 20 years and older, who are currently pursuing (or recently completed) an undergraduate or graduate degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication. Interns are required to have a working knowledge of programming languages and/or platforms including JAVA, .NET, PHP, and familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, and Oracle.

This internship is conducted in English. A language barrier could be encountered to a certain extent.

Internship Details

Information Technology internships are designed to enhance your technical skills, provide professional development, and expose you to a variety of industry best practices. You’ll benefit from mentorship and guidance throughout the international internship, to develop technical abilities and professional confidence. Note that specific tasks and schedules may vary based on project requirements.

Interns should expect that the first week of your experience will focus on settling in and gaining some introductory knowledge, to build an understanding of what you can develop, learn, and contribute. Interns are encouraged to ask questions and provide feedback, so that your supervisor(s) understands how you’re progressing and can assist to develop your internship accordingly. Interns should expect that a language barrier can be encountered to a certain extent. Come prepared and willing to surmount a language barrier (and ask for help when needed), as opposed to being intimidated by it.

Typical Schedule: Monday to Friday, up to 8 hours per day.

How to Apply

Apply for free: Complete an online application form via the Intern Abroad HQ website.

Select your start date and duration: All Intern Abroad HQ programs are available year-round and you can choose to intern for durations on this program ranging from 4 to 12 weeks.

Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Deposit.

Pay your Balance: This is due 60 days before your program starts.

Need to make changes to your booking? You can make free unlimited changes to your destination, project and dates up until 60 days before you start.
