Physical Therapy interns can play an active role in supporting patients with rehabilitation and therapeutic interventions. The program is designed to enhance clinical skills, giving interns the chance to receive supervision and feedback from qualified physiotherapists. If you’re preparing for a successful career in rehabilitation therapy, then choose an international internship as an exciting professional stepping-stone.
Physical Therapy interns should expect that the first week of your experience will focus on settling in and gaining some introductory knowledge, to build an understanding of what you can develop, learn, and contribute. Interns in clinical environments are encouraged to ask questions and provide feedback, so that your supervisor(s) understands how you’re progressing and can assist to develop your internship accordingly. A language barrier may be encountered to a certain extent. Come prepared and willing to surmount a language barrier (and ask for help when needed), as opposed to being intimidated by it.
Typical Schedule: Monday to Friday, up to 40 hours per week. Specific tasks and schedules may vary based on Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Center needs.
