CIEE Quarter in Berlin, Germany

Your Quarter in Berlin program lasts up to 12.5 weeks and is designed for students from all academic backgrounds. You will enroll in a combination of CIEE courses and courses taught online through CIEE’s global academic partner, ASU. Enhance your experience with co-curricular and extracurricular activities while immersing yourself in German culture. Live and learn in Berlin!

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Berlin will open doors for you to explore Germany's rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad. Samples of past excursions and activities:
Take in spectacular views from the top of the Berlin TV Tower, the tallest building in Germany
Relish the city’s rich music scene from the concert halls of the Berlin Philharmonic to underground venues like SO36
Explore the past and future of game design at the Computer Games Museum and then try your hand at it in your coursework

Merit-Based Scholarships - $2,500/semester and $750/summer, awarded to students deomonstrating high academic achievement.
Minority Serving Institutions (MIS) Grant - $2,000/semester and $500/summer, guaranteed to all students attending MSIs.
