Course Description: 5-credit Anthropology 215: Methods and Practices of Archaeological Excavation course. A thematic course exploring methodological approaches and an emphasis on excavation practices, supplemented by site visits in various locations around Thessaloniki and Athens. The program is offered during the Summer term and will consist of three weeks of in-class lectures and discussions and two weeks of fieldwork at the archaeological site of Toumba.
