Program Overview

Your Quarter in Nice program places you on the French Riviera in a city known for sun, sea, and art, designed for students from all academic backgrounds. You will enroll in a combination of CIEE courses and courses taught online through CIEE’s global academic partner, ASU.

Participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities like strolling the Promenade des Anglais, exploring local art galleries, sampling Mediterranean cuisine at markets, or taking part in coastal festivals. Excursions & Activities

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Nice will open doors for you to explore France’s rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.

Samples of excursions and activities:

  • Enjoy coastal walks around Cap Ferrat peninsula or Cap d’Antibes to enjoy the stunning views of the Mediterranean
  • Visit the Marc Chagall and Matisse Museums that showcase artists who have lived and worked on the Côte d’Azur    
  • Take a day trip to Cannes to visit the home of the famous film festival, walk La Croisette, and enjoy Le Suquet
