Program Overview

Your Quarter in São Paulo program immerses you in a fast-paced global city known for its diversity, creativity, and cultural influence, designed for students from all academic backgrounds. You will enroll in a combination of CIEE courses and courses taught online through CIEE’s global academic partner, ASU.

Participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities like exploring Avenida Paulista, visiting museums, sampling Brazilian cuisine, or attending live music and cultural events. Experience the scale and energy that define São Paulo!

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in São Paulo will open doors for you to explore Brazil’s rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.

Samples of excursions and activities include:

  • Explore the artsy streets and galleries of Embu das Artes, a charming town known for its handicrafts and cultural festivals
  • Visit the Museu do Futebol, an interactive museum celebrating Brazil’s iconic soccer culture
  • Wander through Praça Benedito Calixto, a lively square full of markets, music, and local flavors
