  • Connect with Potential Host Organizations: interviews with potential hosts, and once there's a mutual fit, your placement is confirmed
  • Orientation & Ongoing Support: a comprehensive orientation at the Expanish Study Center, with regular check-ins and feedback throughout
  • Start Your Internship & Strengthen Spanish: hands-on professional experience plus an included evening Spanish course

FAQs About Interning Abroad in Madrid

What is the Spanish class schedule for the Summer Internship program in Madrid?

Spanish classes are held twice a week in the evening, Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Do I need a visa for the Summer Internship program in Madrid?

If you are from the U.S., you do not need a student visa to intern and study in Madrid for up to 90 days. If you wish to stay longer, you will need to apply for a student visa before traveling.

Where will I take my classes, and who will be my classmates?

Your Spanish lessons are held at the Expanish Madrid Study Center, where you'll join other international students interning and studying in the city.

Can I extend my internship beyond the 8-week Summer Internship program?

Yes, if you're interested in staying longer, we offer customizable internship packages. Contact us for details.
